About Swift Creek - www.swiftcreekfire.com

The Swift Creek Fire Department consists of 35 volunteers and 4 paid staff. The paid staff are on duty Monday through Friday from 6am to 5pm. We respond to fire, rescue, emergency medical service, hazardous conditions, and service calls within the Swift Creek fire district and surrounding areas. Over the past year, the Swift Creek Fire Department responded to 352 incidents with 2,396 man-hours on scene. The members of the Swift Creek Fire Department have also devoted more than 10,673 hours to training last year.

It is only with this training that we are able to provide the high level of service to the community which we strive to maintain. Through this training and dedication, the Swift Creek Fire Department is able to maintain an excellent insurance rating of Class 5 from the Office of the State Fire Marshal. This rating determines the fire insurance rates for the residents of the Swift Creek Fire District. Less than 3% of non-municipal fire departments in the state have a Class 5 rating or better.

The Swift Creek Fire Department is proud to be a part of our community and we are proud of the services that we provide.
