Raleigh Police Presentation to RCAC, Nov 15, 2006
The Raleigh Citizen's Advisory Council (RCAC) will heard a report from the City of Raleigh Police Department on gang activity at its Nov. 15 meeting at 7 p.m. The meeting was televised live on RTN-11.
The RCAC is comprised of the chairs of the 18 neighborhood Citizens Advisory Councils and had requested information on the severity of the gang problem in Raleigh, countermeasures being employed by the City of Raleigh as well as advice on what neighborhoods can do to help counter gang activity in their community.
The meeting was held in the Council Chambers of the Avery Upchurch Government Building at 222 W. Hargett Street and was open to the public.
