- What is National Night Out?
National Night Out (NNO) is an opportunity for communities to nationwide to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood camaradarie.
- Why participate in NNO?
National Night Out is designed to:- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
- Who is invited?
If you live the Community Watch Area, you are invited. You do not have to own your home to come to NNO or to be part of the Community Watch.
- Does it cost anything?
There is no cost to attend.
- Why should I come?
To meet your neighbors and to show your support for our Community. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Pleasant Ridge and Ramsgate Community Watch. There will also be door prizes!
- What do I need to bring?
A chair if you have it (we will have some) and a non-alcoholic beverage.
- Will there be food?
We will be having watermelon.
