Pleasant Ridge & Ramsgate Community Watch - About Our Organization
The Pleasant Ridge & Ramsgate Community Watch, is a non-profit organization in Raleigh, North Carolina. We are not a home owners association, but merely neighbors. Our goals are simple: work with Raleigh Police Department to reduce crime in our neighborhood and unite our neighbors to be effective community watch members. In addition to that, we are working with the City of Raleigh to enhance our neighborhood and make it a safer & better place to live. Read our Vision Statement to get a better understanding of what our group is about and what we want to achieve in our neighborhood.
On May 10th, 2006, Pleasant Ridge & Ramsgate Community Watch completed Articles of Incorporation with the state of North Carolina. We adopted our By-Laws on September 15th, 2006. The North Caroline Department of Revenue accepted our non-profit status on October 4th, 2006.

Our group meets quarterly on the first Monday or Tuesday during the months of Febraury, May, August, and November. Each meeting will feature a "Hot Topic" where we have a special topic of interest that may feature a guest speaker. Our meetings are usually held at the First United Pentecostal Church on Lake Wheeler Road.
The founders or the group were the original three co-chairs: Tabitha Groelle, Jeannie Inskeep, and Jason Hibbets. Our current leaders are:

- Secretary - Patricia Brenzy
- Treasurer - Jason Hibbets
- Advisor to the board - Tabitha Groelle
Our watch area is triangulated by Lake Wheeler Road, Lineberry Drive, and Lawrence Drive, on the south side of I-40/I-440, South Raleigh. The Community Watch Program includes the following streets:

The City of Raleigh has recognized us an Official Neighborhood Registry. Our group strives to make our neighborhood a safer and better place to live.
